Can you believe we have reached the end of the school year?! We will soon become kindergarteners with lots of new and exciting adventures ahead, but not before we do a few more fun things during our last month together! May is going to be full of Mexican fun, lots of ‘motherly (and fatherly) love’, scientific cycles, and preparation for our Moving-Up Ceremony!

Classroom Happenings

Language and Literacy: Completion of diagonal letters and the letters Xx, Yy, and Zz, as well as a review of all consonants/sounds. We will wrap up our sight word and creative writing units, which will include topics that focus upon our accomplishments this school year and what we hope to learn next year in kindergarten.

Math: Review of all math concepts and skills

Social Studies: We will be traveling to the country Mexico in World Culture with Ms. Kori during May. We will be learning about traditional food, language, landmarks, education, sports, and more!
