Mother’s Day Breakfast- Tuesday May 7- 8:30-9:15
Bike Day- Tuesday May 21 ( rain date Fri May 24).
. Wednesday May 22-School wide family picnic. School closes @ 5o’clock.
Father’s Day Breakfast- Friday May 31-8:30-9:15. Signup sheet will be
posted outside of classroom
Our themes this month will be Mother’s Day, springtime fun, transportation,
and special end of the year activities.
The bulletin board for the remainder of this month will be an end of the year
art show. Please bring in a piece of your child’s art work that was sent home
during the year for us to display. We will return the piece to you on the last day of school. We would like to have these by May 13.

We would like to have 2 special lunches the last two weeks of school,(Pizza &
Chic-Fil-A, we will let you know what dates we decide. If anyone could pickup the order from Chic-Fil-A please let us know. If you would like to bring in a special snack, we know the children would enjoy this also.
Some parents have asked how they should handle the school year ending with
the children. We have always handled this by waiting till near the end of May, and telling the children that we will be going on summer vacations, like they will, and we will be back. This has worked well in the past.
Once again, please check cubbies for seasonal change of clothes, and apply sunscreen before bringing the children to school. We know the children like to wear flip flops and sandals, but tennis shoes are better for climbing and running.
It’s been a great year. We have enjoyed getting to know each child and watching them learn and grow. Thanks to all families for their many kind words and support throughout the year. Have a safe and fun filled summer.
